spoke to boddika on fri, said that the donell jones tune wont see the light of day, due to the sample, not suprising, bit gutted though, such a tune....

I'm gonna guess and say that probably at least one of the two tunes that still aren't ID'd ( http://www.mixesdb.com/w/2012-10-01_-_J ... r_(RA.331) ) could be coming out on the nonplus compilation (or neither of them etc)

I thought the tracklisting was pretty solid. Old Mr.G stuff is killer! But yeah did seem to be a lack of direction, i know producers and djs have to go with the time but from hyph which was an anthem to this new track everyone is playing, i think that there is a lack of direction.Func wrote:Not as good as TTT but still a good mix. I think it really falls down on track selection. It is all too common these days that artists focus on building hype for unreleased material rather than just putting a good mix together for the sake of making a good mix! This mix is a prime example of this for me, it just doesn't work.

don't really mind that theres no strict direction
big tune's a big tune not matter it's properly arranged and classified, expand boundaries, bring in the unexpected
e.g. there are 3 or 4 joy o / boddika tunes in the TTT all played together, that's something I'd never do
