Yeah I don't like his tracks. If he's a Savant then they're impressive but I think they're generic and dull tbh. They feel really 'digital', they have no soul imo. Only listened to a few though but still.

A savant is someone like Mozart that will push music as a whole.
Not cutting up other people's music and making a generic tune.

He would have cut his ears off and made a masterpiece by only feeling the vibrations on his desk.

Asperger's is a form of Autism. I don't mean to hound the guy, the whole thing just seems nearly impossibly unlikely. The guy who's recognized as the most highly functioning savant (this guy in England if I remember) can barely go outside because he can't function if he count the number of things around him. And savant-level skills are usually specialized in one extremely specific area, not something as broad as music production. And again I'd like to point out there are less than 50 of these people in world...he's 60 times more likely to be a billionaire.

Some of his Fm mid range basses literally sound like farts. I have heard a lot of people say that about dubstep when they're just hating, but with Zomboy it's actually true haha.
The mix is pretty good. Very clean. Almost sterile. I just think he lacks a lot of sub bass which he probably sacrificed to get a louder master. It's whatever.

Madlib put out an album every month for a full year, not to mention the 2-5 other albums he put out in the same year under different aliases.

I actually feel the space between his sub freq and the rest of the mix feels nice in a live setting, especially for someone tuning FOH
