i dont think shes right all the time, but i take her opinion as the "average listener" you know? she has kind of an ear though, in metal bands she prefers demos over mastered versions. Because of the dynamics.

When you start out fully inspired and get a nice 8 bar groove going, but within 5 minutes the project has been swamped with 20+ failed ideas so you get pissed off, close your DAW and go on DSF, never to return to said project.
