i was a mint prefect aswell, volunteered as a joke cos we all thought it was basically a foregone conclusion i'd never ever be allowed to be one... and they made me one, which was MINT

when i was in the lower years we used to siege the doors to the main school where the prefects were, like 30 or 40 of us all goin at the doors to get in, it was mint

same happened to us when we were prefects too, was so much joke tryin to hold the line against 40 year 8's all charging the door

always got tricky with the kids a year behind you though cos obviously they dont want you to have any power over them but technically you do

this is like when i tried out for the curling team, because you got to miss like 3 days of school, and then realizing it was a no cut team. can't pass up those opportunities

The head boy and girl of my school recently got up in an enrichment assembly to join the school chaplain in singing 'God, Jesus and The world is one community' complete with hand signs, me and my mate just looked at each other thinking why are we at this school, even other teachers were laughing at them
