It's not okay to get your cock out in public. Especially not when you wave it at rape victims.

Are we seriously having a discussion on this? :|

But is flashing really sexual assault? We've all seen cocks and tits. Most of us have them. How come showing them is a crime?

trying to give a fuck. But my fuck ain't working.
It's sexually aggressive behaviour no matter how you wrap it up and there's very little place for that outside of one's own home. Flashing your cock is a statement of "I can do whatever the fuck I want because I'm strong and you've got to deal with it because you're weak"... it's intentionally raising the spectre of sexual assault and rape to threaten/intimidate a weaker member of society.

We've all seen guns and knives too, but that's no reason to say it should be ok to get them out in front of strangers.

They should've cut it off.
Man gets his cock out at feminist rally - seems to me thats it's a clear pisstake, Im not saying it's right so don't get me wrong. I hardly think getting your willy out is comparable to flashing weapons or because someone is thinking: 'me strong, you weak, im gonna get my cock out to prove this'.

There doesn't always have to be some intricate, deep reason or meaning for everything that people do, he looks off his head anyway.
Well, obviously it's a pisstake. Since when can you take the piss out of an angry mob and not expect a punch in the face or worse? The angry mob were due to be there making their protest - they're certainly not the ones in the wrong here. They're not in the wrong for wanting to be able to walk through their city without having male genitalia (or any, for that matter) thrust in their faces like most of us manage to do every day.

This dude decided that the way he was going to interact with a largely female crowd on a feminist rally was to show utter disdain for the values they're marching for and get his cock out... even if by your personal opinion it's not "sexual assault", he's more than welcome to a good shoeing just for being so disrespectful to such a large number of people. Would you not expect to get your head kicked in if you rolled down to an anti-racism demo and started shouting the N-bomb at people? Why is this different? Because it's against women?

Not only is he committing an arguable sexual assault, he's intentionally trying to piss off an already-angry crowd of politically charged women - he's seemingly thick as fuck. They should've cut it off to prevent him creating a new generation from his feeble genetics.

Who's said it's ok? Just that he's within his right to do it, but he's still a piece of shit. To counter their political statement ("support rape victims") with his ("I don't give a fuck") is fine. To counter HIS statement with violence is wrong.

I'm ACTUALLY pro-choice. I believe that all people, regardless of gender, should have full control over what they do with their body. If he can flip people the bird, he can flash his cock.

I'm within in my rights to go to the hood and wear a sign saying "I hate n***ers" like John McLane in Die Hard 3. I'd also be an idiot to not expect to get my ass beaten within an inch of my life.

Some people lack foresight and/or common sense (or just don't give a fuck until they have repercussions for their actions).

Some people get offended by tits too, should the government decide what clothes women should be allowed to wear?

People don't have the right not to be offended. This is what freedom of speech is about. When you start drawing arbitrary lines, that's when you're on a slippery slope.

Ugh, this is pointless. People hate freedom

Freedom of speech is not about waving your cock at women whenever you want.

Freedom of speech is expressing the way you want to whomever you want. Gender has nothing to do with it.

Freedom of speech and expression isn't always right, theres a limit or a line that can be crossed.

Waving your cock isn't speech. Neither is streaking.

At least I'm being logical and putting forth an argument. Your argument amounts to 'lol willies r gross, u just CANT show them 2 people'.
JBoy wrote:Freedom of speech and expression isn't always right, theres a limit or a line that can be crossed.
Sure, the limit should be the innitation of force against others. Other than that, everything is game. He didn't innitiate force. He showed a body part. Subjective judgement of what's cool and what isn't goes against the point of freedom of speech. If you don't like what the guy had to say, or anyone, then suck it up or express your freedom of speech by arguing against him.

And I'm not DEFENDING him. I think he's a bottom of the barrel type asshole and I already hate his guts for what he did. But he was completely within his rights to do what he did the way we are to disagree with him. But no one's within their right to innitiate VIOLENCE against him
