Mmmm.... Watched some interview with deadmau5 (he actually had someting to say this time) talking about how much people are making in the mainstream electronic scene. And he was saying something about how some magazine was ranking dJ's about how much they were were "worth", and deamau5 was "worth" 11 million. Simple as that really, if you wana make money make midrange durrrbstep, go to the states and tour collages. Skrilly apparently approaches $200k for some gigs. Benga might not be on quite the same level in terms of popularity, but you can get collage gigs pretty much every night, so (just talking terms of scale and making up numbers:
average $20k a gig x 5 a week average x 30 weeks touring a year = 3 million dolla.
Skrillex made 25 million last year (apparently) so i don't think its too hard to believe Benga is making this kinda money.
