don't think the BB Dub is on there... mispress???
I don't have the record yet, but based on the description of it on the night slugs site and the samples I've heard online there are small differences between the two that are very easy to miss. After listening to the samples on rubadub I can tell the 808 toms have been stripped from the edit and there is also some type of analogue distortion on the accordion.

my ears must be properly fucked then.

i made rips of both tunes and ran them through audacity to check the wave, looked 100% percent the same...

also, according to chemical the bb edit should be 148 bpm, but i guess that's wrong?

they should be different, if you listen to the rubadub clips, like the accordion drops out at certain point, the dub seems a lot more stripped back

Here's a review I wrote for the local rag...

Night Slugs Allstars Volume 2.
Guiding the underground from one unconventional idea to the next, the neon liquid day glow aesthetic of London's Night Slugs record label provides a candy coated avant-garde approach to UK beat structures. Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990 two DJs, Producers, Label Heads who've been carving a niche over the past two years, fusing and releasing the tribal elements of Funky House with a proper dose of razor sharp florescent synths. Night Slugs is home to a smorgasbord of exclusive talent: Girl Unit, Kingdom, Egpytrixxx and Jam City (who's 2012 album 'Classical Curves' is an engaging roller coaster of left field thrills). Allstars V2 strikes like unexpected lightning, every track on the compilation is evidence of extraterrestrial outer space bass. The production is an inexplicable world of uncharted territory in Bass Music, It's as though you've stumbled into the Cantina Bar from 'Star Wars', with a smooth talking intoxication and press play on the juke box. Night Slugs Allstars 2 is the soundtrack of the future.
