why's everybody so obsessed with snares? don't have any and (so far) don't need any

got a solid kick a nice hats.
but admittedly, i was pretty shocked when i first heard all those samples. now i'm down with them and it's flowing

ive done this before...shoddily...but still...yea just been taking me forever to cut out and overlay the right bits to get it sounding adequate

contest is kicking my arse...definitely pushing me outside my albeit narrow comfort zone. I've managed a couple decent pads and a barely acceptable drum loop. hoping to pull together a couple more elements and at least get some type of riddim for submission.

Finally got a drum kit made and a decent beat going, the level of work required for each sample is nearly the same as the 808 comp.
