Okay guys,

Time to start entering. I would really like to open voting this Monday so try to get something in.

If you are interested in entering but don't have material feel free to join the group and enter next time around. https://soundcloud.com/groups/64-bar-competition

I'm probably going to post something up myself this weekend, to get the ball rolling.

@ Brothulhu I'm going to right now.

I will also message everyone that has already joined the group. Looks like we have about 7 people joined so far.

Been at work,in bed sick and doing coursework all weekend, so I whipped my entry up in under an hour so it's a bit repetitive :s

I voted for the first track. For me it had a better song structure, sound design and mixdown than the rest.

I entered a track as well, the whole reason I created this was the fact that I wanted to enter.TBH I voted for myself this round.
If in the end there isn't enough people voting we might switch to that; if need be. There really is no way (as far as I know) to tell if some voted for themselves. In the end there really is no advantage; if you figure everyone votes for themselves.

We just need this to be towards the top of the Production board *cough* Wub. :6:

Sorry bud, ill post it next week.

People already started to vote so you would have had a disadvantage.

Glad it got kick started, really enjoyed some of the entries. Great job guys! :W:

So I was thinking. How can we get more people to vote? Not in an unfair, promotional way.

Generally it is usually just the people that enter the contest that vote, and care about the results.

I wanted to play with the idea of allowing everyone to vote 3 times, picking the three best. And then maybe place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd if there are enough entries.

A problem that I see is the fact that someone can vote for themselves three times in a row (which would ruin the whole thing) If everyone is honest though i think it could work out.

Looks like there won't be enough tracks this week to open voting. Might just change it to a week roll call, then the following week voting until we can get a more consistent flow of tracks.

Kill-ian really pulled away from the pack this week. Great job and congratulations!
