oh yea because you don't have the money that excuses/justifies it. cool, i see how you think

There has to be an actual crowd in order to have somebody to complain.

haha, m8 i fucking bet that if you heard several tunes at either 320 or wav and had to guess which it was, most times youd get it wrong. theres not that much difference between 320 and wav. once it gets lower than 256 yeah you can start to tell, but in a club, its not like some fucking perfect listening environment, the bass way overpowers the highs normally anyway.

I dont really feel bad for pirating stuff cos I buy mp3 and records, i spend a fair amount on music so whats the harm in pirating a bit of it compared to people who dont buy any at all. I spend way more on music than most of my mates. If i kinda like it, but arent massivel into it, i dont wanna spend money on it lol
This is a fact. There have been many a/b tests where people failed conclusively to distinguish between 320 and wav.

The only reason why people continue to claim they can hear a difference is because they don't know how to do a scientific blind test.

Most people don't know how the human brain works - there was a test done where they played some music through a cheap sound system and an expensive one. Everyone preferred the expensive one. Afterwards it was revealed that they had in fact been listening to the same sound system.

Stupid humans.

club rigs are not the most perfect listening environments, even if you think they are. when you go out and think a tune sounds perfect quality, its probably an mp3, sorry man.

exactly.

bass turned up, weighty.

as long as the tunes been mixed down well there shouldnt be an issue at 320 tbh.

To be honest, there's no need to pirate music with the amount of free tunes being given away.

Digital's leveled the playing field for the better anyway; DIY labels have a chance and the big corporations can't strangle scenes anymore. If the redistribution of wealth away from the corporations to other smaller labels was calculated it would probably outweigh the piracy - the good is better than the bad. The industry is slowly turning around on how to make money and records are now being released to promote tours and not the other way around, and you can't pirate live music!

In my opinion you shouldn't steal with unnecessary things like music - if you don't like it, just don't buy it. It should be noted though that music prices dropped out the sky on the back of Napster so the major labels obviously knew they were enjoying a bit too much of a monopoly...

Why would they be? A club rig isn't designed for high fidelity.

Please remember to use your brain the next time you reply.

Which part didn't you understand? I thought it was pretty simple, but I didn't realise that English isn't your first language. My apologies.

Basically, the word "fidelity" used in this context means the degree to which an electronic device accurately reproduces the original recording.

You mentioned that a/b tests weren't performed on club systems, I was answering your comment. This is generally what happens in a discussion.

I hope you now understand what I was "on about".
