It's a good idea but NJB only had a couple of singles before 1996/1997 and I've just checked them out via youtube - no such luck. Will keep digging.

Heard a tune out the other day that I know ive heard before, but couldnt for the life of me say where. Best way I can describe it is jackmaster dropped it, it has a kind of choppy techy rhythm with some kind of off beat sharp grinding noises, and a vocal over the top you cant hear the words of, but is basically a pitched down male voice saying some shit I cant remember, apart from the end of each 4 bars or something it says something along the lines of "bakkayaa". It went off!

another long shot, Bicep played some really sick tune with an incredible sax part going pretty much the length of the tune, been looking for ages and can't find, anyone think of anything off the top of their heads? great sax

Couldn't find a Techno ID thread, plus the Hessle Rinse Podcast thread is located here in the House subforum so it makes sense that people posting here are more likely to know the ID..

Its over a year since I heard it, but I just realised I cant track this version down!
Essentially, at freerotation last year Move D played a version of Strings of Life, that was essentially just the piano and some synths looped, not much percussion. Video of it here...(which by the way, is SO good)

this is going back a bit but can anyone name the tune from 4mins 30 to around 7 minutes in the December 2nd (2012) Numbers Rinse FM podcast with Joy O? I can't tell if it's one tune or a soundscape bit mixed with something else, but either way it sounds so so nice.
