next big thing:
nu rave skweeee crossover
sub bass will peel back
fluttering blips abound
NME will call it Blipgloss
Pitchfork will review it as the "smooth cognac aftertaste to EDM's Redstripe hangover"
and it will be fucking awful

Something new comes up and people rate it, it gets popular, people hate it. It's the hipster cycle of DSF and i've been here long enough to realise that it happens every year, it happened with Skrillex, a while back when he first cropped up threads were rating him, a year later there's a bitter amount of hate coming from this forum towards him.

I can confidently say I have never rated Skrillex nor that awful abomination of a band he was in (who I must stress were regarded as being just as much of a joke in the hardcore scene as skrillex currently is in the dubstep scene)

no?
There were at least 2 threads I remember from tiiime ago that were rating him, one was specifically about his production. This was a long time ago and i'm not going to waste my time searching, and i'm sure people won't believe me anyway (believe me if i don't use the search function anyway).

Disclosure said 'they've not seen this blog before, is that bad?'. I don't think they know who Blackdown is lol. Funny considering ZB has released on his label and they see themselves as the 2013 ZB.
I bet they're one of the many people who Zomby hates because they confuse him with Zomboy

here is a leak of the artowkr from the forthcoming scuba and doisclosure ep
scuba dons the disclsoure face!!!
It’s the same if I’m listening to like Detroit techno, and I’m not a massive technohead at all, but unless I’m listening to like Juan Atkins or Derrick May or one of the original guys I just think ‘I’d rather just be listening to Juan Atkins or Derrick May right now’, because they’re just the shit.”
“Bach used to take full lines of other people’s music and put them in his compositions and just invert it – it’s like, if he was playing other people’s music back then in the Baroque era, I think I’m cool with doing it as well.”
