You have to adjust your lifestyle...like the Spanish

stay out of the sun all day - dinner 8-10 pm - perfectly warm for the late night...
breakfast and bed before sun fully rises...

In the southern states - you get a tropical rain almost everyday between 3-5
- so no one plans anything for the late afternoon...

you will also develop a drawl - and start doing everything slowly...because you have to...

Also this weather rules. Spent all day in the sun listening to jazz, drinking and barbecuing

The sun is awesome. Get to work on a tan, excuse to sit outside and drink until the small hours, plus apartment has air con on both floors.

Air con is nice at night to cool the room down before sleeping.

This is true.
Some nights it can be unbearable.

I love the heat but I barely get a chance to cool down. Home is hot, train to work is hot, office is hot, train home is even hotter.

I also have no garden to sit in and enjoy the sun/BBQ, might go down to the park later but they don't let you BBQ down there, when I tried last week I got told off by a council worker :(

She calls this heat dirty and makes it difficult to do anything and it's barely 30 degree, where as in india its 40+ on a everyday basis and nothing stop for the heat down there.
When I was in Morroco, about this time last year, it was around 54 degrees Celsius for the week we were there. Dry heat too, and it was nice. I like it when it about 30 in the UK, if it was 54 we would then have to worry.
