The way of delivering the jokes while playing piano is, in my opinion, a bit too similar to
what Galifianakis did back in 2006. You can see an example of that at around 3:00 in this video.
I enjoyed the whole thing though.

Love this because it takes a while for the crowd to loosen up until he has them cracking up in spite of themselves by the end of it. Big comedy cojones.

Gary Gulman is really good.
I've seen a ton of stand up specials and this relatively small name really stands out.
On par with CK, Maron, Birbiglia etc..
You can demand it on Netflix (US).

Noone comes close to stewart lee in my book, dead or alive he is the one that has mastered it completely. Like a Stevie in a sea of Drakes. Not sure which show is his best tho..

Love Andy Kindler but he is definitely not the most accesible but most of his stuff is just off the cuff. Basicly a compulsive joker..

Yeah I don't mean to compare them style-wise. They are just some of the best Americans I've seen recently. My absolute favourite comedians are Dutch though. Not really standup, most of them write with theater producers. It's still funny, but they are not telling jokes. We call it cabaret, but that's something entirely different in English interpretation I think.

Makes sence. And the ones you prefer are definitely focused on story telling aswell.
Almost to the point of being literary.
I mean they are good people with perspective but I don't think I've ever laughed at their stuff, do you know what I mean? Except Ck..
It's interesting what people get out of standup to me...
