I saw a drawing in the internet showing how abortions work, I thought the whole baby came out but they actually pull out bits at a time, pretty grim, I showed a few people from here but can't remember who

Yeah, Tooley has a point.

Depends on the timing a lot, I think. An old housemate of mine had one and she said it was like having a big period. Her sister had one much later into her term for fairly traumatic reasons and actually had to, like, deliver and bury it. Fucking awful.
Anti Abortion campaigners often seem to miss the fact that deciding to have an abortion is HUGE, especially for a mother-to-be. Everyone I know that's ever had one was fucked up emotionally for a decent amount of time afterwards. Nobody takes this sort of decision lightly and it's only anti-abortion campaigners that try to frame it as an "alternative to contraception". It'd be nice if people showed as much compassion to a living woman who's just taken one of the toughest decisions of her life as the glob of chemical biology inside her.

Sometimes they remove the entire fetus, it's entirely dependent on the stage of pregnancy.

Is funny when people defend this "right to life" but then agree that abortion when a woman is raped is alright, like sons of rape dont have this right

would be interesting to get to the point when this whole process will be dehumanised and we'll just view it as simply breeding or degenerate into some sort of exaggerated consumerism. like say being conceived in massive factory clinics and parents can decide if they want it to be more "natural" (aka from their own genes with little or no modifications/interference) or to completely engineer it

yeah this is why anti-abortionist can't really take up a middle ground, as their argument will be completely taken apart. the only defense for this is medical evidence for depression and trauma means that a woman's health is protected when abortion is only permissible in rape circumstances and so it takes precedence over the foetus's right to life

i doubt this will happen for a very long time due to how conservative the world elite is on issues like this

Perhaps the Catholic Church could divest itself of all its material trappings and make strides towards ending poverty and hunger. Until then, they're just hypocritical twats.

I want to say - that I think Magma pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one...
But I would like to address the way this thread is titled....
Because I am decently offended by it.
To somehow insinuate - that I, as a woman, am somehow guilty...or implicit
In - manifesting - throw away culture with abortion..is a fucking horrible joke.
In my 2 - count them 2 - serious relationships I've had in all my 41 years...
I could - at best be characterized as convienient and some-what suitable.
Do you think - I - am about to throw away my entire life - to make babies...
- for relationships that are from the beginning - an excuse to get drunk?
Spare me the 9 months and the rest of my life.
I take that shit very seriously.
-to the point - that I will seek a back alley butcher to sort it - if that's what it is..
and we are back to '73 on that...
Women need to be able to handle this safely.

I'm just sayin'...
Don't do me any favors if you aren't interested in me as a person.
That's why I don't wear the mask...

...vamping for power...
In this moment....
I stand with Sasha Grey getting gang banged and choked out
with her eyeliner running down...
Because she stood pretty strong through that...
as cold as she may be...

The first time I saw a 21 year old male on my street
with a full facial beard in 70's style running shorts....
trust - It was like watching child abuse in full bloom...

...and just 1 more thing and I will have fully expressed myself in this thread...
The movie - The Brown Bunny - although the ending is laughably melodramatic...
Is a really, really good film. Big up Vincent Gallo - I think he's a truly righteous dude.

The Catholic church is a bullshit institution anyway and always has been since day 1.

The title is like saying to an abuse victem...
If you would just stop being so ugly - we won't have to hit you in the face like that.
