calling it "the" ukraine is actually incorrect ever since it became its own country. the name ukraine is derived from the russian word for "the" boarder "Окраина". but now since it is no longer the boarder of the USSR, calling it the ukraine is incorrect. #WhatYouLearnInRussianClass

stating these "leaders" are neo-fascist is about as correct as calling the protestors freedom fighters. their agenda is much more diverse than that, and even though they do meddle in some nationalist propaganda, that doesn't make them neo-fascists.
weren't you studying history? should learn to differ.

You might wanna do your own research in the svoboda party

Udar, Batkiwschtschina and Svoboda have lost most of the protestant's sympathy during the last week, and especially the latter will be the most likely one to receive the losing end of the ongoing trades. When I wrote the last post I was thinking more of the newer movements like Dmitri Jarosh's party "Right Sector", and calling these fascist would just be oversimplifying things. of course there is a shitload of ideological vermin rooted in Jarosh's and his comrade's heads, but this doesn't make him and his followers neo-fascist.
people are (yeah, now I'm oversimplifying, I know) fed up with the established parties and the leaders. they're more looking towards "martyrs" and "heroes" like Ihor Luzenko to give them hope and unity.
haven't got any updates from my friends in Kiew in a couple of days, so maybe I'm misjudging the situation completely (or they are).
