There was a time when brostep was not saturated and I enjoyed a good bit of it. It still has quality to it and groove/rhythm and wasn't entirely obnoxious noise. It coexisted (at least in my world) along with regular dubstep nicely. I really miss that time.
looking back though it's that damn 200 hz snare that bothers me more than anything else. also yoi's. yoi's are shit.

Mate, it's got everything you and I both hate about bro minus the notoriety.
Completely disagree. 26 Basslines just uses similar-ish synth sounds to some brostep, but thats not all that makes brostep. It's got that sort of steady skanking groove that rolls on beat by beat. Just a matter of feel I suppose, but I could fit 26 basslines along some Mala tunes, but could never do the same with a chase & status tune or something
Not all dubstep sounds like that and uses the same beat patterns man. Come on, don't be a mong.

some things just obviously deserve 92 million hits
also, really tacky rip off of Bjork's 'Declare Independence' video 'bout 3/4 through, unrecommended.

I don't get why you think your ability to like it is what makes it bro lol. If Skrillex dropped tunes like that in his sets they'd go off.

If you're going to ask me why two peices of music of the same style cannot be different you should fuck off
Whole tune is midrange throughout. Starts with a similarly whiny intro synth. Essentially identical beat pattern. Similar, if not equivalent, tempo. Skrillex track may even have a heavier sub.
But since you want to get onto this...

That was my point. Different tracks; dynamically and stylistically different. Both dubstep.
It is possible for two different tracks to have different details and stylistic choices and fall into the same musical category.
