Not to slide the discussion but isn't the problem more with Likud and their horrible retaliation attitude to score points with insecure israelis and settlers ? You can't really say "Hamas is only representative of a vocal minority in Palestine" then go "All Israelis put Netanyahu in power", there's a growing opposition in the political system, represented by people with humane considerations like Tzipi Livni.

Also, I could've understood the "it wasn't supposed to exist in the first place" argument some 40 or 50 years ago, but now there's a whole generation of indigenous israelis who were born and raised there, it doesn't seem fair to deny them the only home they've ever known... The time for this nonsense has passed IMO.


We may now go back to jewish appreciation.
