Don't really get this statement - it's a jump up tune, Zinc has been doing jump up for years, and to be honest I think this is far better than a lot of stuff he's churned out in the last few years. Zinc's been involved in garage/breakstep since 2001 (possibly earlier) and been well in with the early dubstep producers for time. I figure Benga must be cool with this or he wouldn't have let the remix happen.

but even then, this sounded like it was made using "making drum n bass for dummies" book

yeah you're probably right shonks... but i really think that this tune is a big step down from most of the production zinc comes with!

i'm not normally one to hate on music i don't like... big believer in letting people do their own thing and all that... and if some people like it then that's all good and it must have something to it...

BUT

this tune is so shit (imo) that i just had to cuss it down... probably the first and last time i will gun a tune on the forum... (normally if i ain't feeling a tune i won't even check the thread about it!)

so yeah... i hate it

Has to be said the melody sounds stupid at any tempo - not dissing, that's kinda why I like it. Although they've been rinsed to fuck it's the same sort of vibe I get from Aphrodite's Badass and Zinc's Super Sharp Shooter - tunes to go off to in the dance

not really that fussed either way - tell you what tho, if it was an original toon instead of a remix i.e. if Night was ONLY a DnB toon by Zinc, we wouldn't be discussing at all.

Not sure what my point is, but it just struck me as funny.



btw if you can't hack people saying they don't like something when you happen to like it, don't bother posting in the first place. Make a thread and you will get others' opinions whether you agree with them or not.
