nail on the head. it's a just logical way to continue functioning as a label until the admin shitstorm is dealt with imo.
can you elaborate? i can't see how creating a sublabel simplifies anything in this situation..
to answer your question ''who actually distributes labels like this one, now that STH is gone?''
it looks like SOUTHERN RECORD DISTRIBUTION are taking over a lot of STs labels.. i doubt any label is gonna go under since the collapse of ST too. they are only a distributer at the end of the day

Yeah, what's going on with School?
I'd like more Burberry colour ways printed on vinyl.

Yeah.
I made it down for about half 11 ish and caught the tail end of Pinch b2b Loe. I really enjoyed the selection but the sound wasn't great. Both seemed to be playing mainly vinyl so dunno if this had something to do with it. Sounded like the system couldn't handle the lower frequencies. However, Mickey played mainly if not all digital (i think) and the sound was fine. Youngsta followed for the last hour and killed it! Mainly new stuff with the odd classic throne in.
Wasn't too busy or dead, enough people for a good atmosphere and your own space but by no means full. The size of the venue i personally prefer to places like Heaven and drink prices weren't silly in the context of London.
Will go again. Inspired me to try and make it to the next Contact at Vox in Leeds.

Pretty pointless move IMO. Nothing's new, nothing will change

I was there at 81 the other day, had fun. Nice venue, good sound. Security was calm.
Got there for Mia's set, got me warmed up nicely. room was just filling up so i had time to find my corner n zone out haha.
Loefah v Pinch was so sick, heavy selection but like you said there was bare technicals.
Mickey killed it as per, his icy lake remix is the one for me right now. Yunx slyly stole the show.
