No shit right.
We were told to evacuate around 8pm and I'm at a friend of James's in Bay Park watching Family Guy, couldn't stand watching the news anymore. There was a news reporter on earlier who was reporting from in front of his own burning house (!!).
Stay safe everyone, and leave if they tell you to.
Edit: I'm on James's laptop and it has me logged in as him.

wow, heavy. the closest i have been to this kind of action was when sydney was burning a few years ago ... i have never seen sky like it in my life.

if that was me I would of built huge concrete walls around my land and concreted the whole place over so nothing burns!
But gl, and i would board those naked pipes up that are outside your house btw, they might melt or something and then you will have no water/gas/electricity, oh and if its gas, even more problems.

I hope Misk leaves his house if the authorities in his area call for an evacuation. 1) for his and his significant others well being and safety and 2)
It hinders the efforts of firefighters to combat the fire if they have to do search and rescue while they fight the fire.

haha. dont worry, theres no fires around us... we're quite possibly in the safest place we can be currently. If i lived in a higher populated area (i.e. solana beach, del mar, etc.) i'd have left. We have spent the last 4 years since the 2003 fires down here making sure this place doesnt burn down again. we've got about 60 acres here thats pretty well groomed.
as i told shiva in a PM - i am very aware of the (rather thick) line between bravery and stupidity. I'll be the first girly-man down this hill in the event of a disastrous wall of flame.
