although I hope to move out soon I'm currently living in a place where all I've got is a water cooker and a microwave
I can't eat out every single day
so in my grim situation please just tell me some alright mw meals or fuk off
get a hot plate or w/e they're called
as for microwave you could probably try making some toast (as in toast it before since microwaving would just make the bread soggy or just buy toasted bread) w/ cheese(s), tomatoes, garlic, grilled peppers/other vegetables you can get in a jar, meat that doesn't require cooking like prosciutto or smth

Microwave lasagna from Sainsbury's is ok. Microwave lasagna is pretty much the only microwave one I can do.

'Gently crack an egg into the water, making sure it's completely submerged. Cover with a saucer and microwave on high for about 1 minute, or until the white is set but the yolk is still runny. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the egg to a plate
edit - if it wasn't obvious, that makes poached eggs

Just made this, letting it stand for 5 mins.
using 1 of 3 microwavable steamers dishes (basically a tub with a lid) put in broccoli and a small cup of water and heat for 5 mins. when done put broccoli somewhere safe use drain water put in a cup and add cup with another half cup to a cup of rice in the microwavable dish. add flavours, this time I went with garlic n onion granules madras and garam massala with a bit of celery salt. cook on defrost for 6 minutesd take out add a few more flavours if you want then bang back on for 8:30 full wap.
meanwhile I used the dregs of an natural yoghurt pot from breakfast mixed with peanut butter, fruit chutney and brown sauce asnd a bit of hot water mixed together. this will go on top the dish later.
right so the rice is cooking, its coming up to 2 mionutes 30 left and Ive a sketchy bag of corned beef trimmings sitting in my fridge for a few days that Ive been sceptical of so I slam them in hoping the heat will kill any badness (mix in well). take out when done move rice to allow broccoli and lay rixce over to warm up the cooled broccoli, put the sauce on top and the lid back on allow to stand for 5 minutes.
mix and match veg and meat to taste.
and now for the tasting..
