is he playing stuff by Orien these days? sounded like he played a bunch of his tunes at fwd last night..
One remix or a hundred remixes, a remix is a remix. He still produced!!Fushimi wrote:Yeah, the Dizzee Rascal ones are not by Youngsta as stated above.Ory wrote:Fractal wrote:also did stand up all on dizzees "showtime" and a rmx titled stand up tall...Fushimi wrote:Twisup remix on DMZ003Ory wrote:
Which one would that be? If I recall correctly, Youngsta has only recently started producing, and will have some tracks coming up in 2008.

Twisup I always thought to be a VIP for Youngsta, not by him.
Youngsta did not produce Stand Up Tall. That's Youngstar, a grime producer: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Youngstar
I read an interview with Youngsta a long time ago where he was talking about the Twisup remix and how apart from that he hasn't had enough time to serious work on production.
Spot on...howstrange wrote:youngsta is undoubtedly technically better, more creative mixing, set building and better EQing...also what you're forgetting is youngsta does do quick mixes just holds them for longer, therefore gettin through less tracks
i mostly meant youngsta i think he is certainly a "dj dj" (good phrase). he has done a remix, and he does mess about in the studio from time to time, but you cant say he's made his mark as a producer. he's more committed to his DJing and smoking really. mostly smoking. he's not that close to finishing anything off, he kind of starts stuff but never sees it through. but being such a perfectionist with a good ear im sure when something does eventually surface it'll be big stuff. with lots of space.Ashley wrote:Funny that cos they both produce too.howstrange wrote:hear hear!Corpsey wrote:Yeah there should be more DJ DJs I reckon, although there are some sick producer DJs of course.
N-Type - Way of the dub
And Youngsta has done a remix I swear...
