This is the most unusual line up i've ever seen at FWD. And it must be praised. new, fresh talent getting the platform to showcase alongside Techboy Appleblim and Grime cat Karnage. Nice! Can't frickin make it tho can i. Bloody burfday party to go to. Tsk.

how sick was it last night?!!!
i dont mean for my set, just the whole vibe of the night was proper...\
kion & unlikely played a refreshing blend of new (to me) stuff...really good selection and mixing...all about when Kion dropped 'Raw' by Itchy Robot! locked! big up Shy mate, sounded effing good...
karnage played some real nice fresh vocals till Flo Dan (one of my alltime faves) stepped up, longside Killa P, absolutely smashed it...'i am the big Flo Dan'!!!!
i was strugglin with the cdjs (no dub houses open at xmas!) but i have to say Geiom 'reminissin' went down really well, big up kamal, its a massive tune...proper good song - even had Zed Bias rushin to the front to ask about it!
and Braiden & Oneman absolutely smacked it....all about Braiden mixin 0800 dub!!! sick!! and when oneman dropped Sia 'little man'....oh my dayyyyyysssssss
big up stamina gang who repped till the end, proper skankin right to the end!!!

In all seriousness though, it was an utterly sick night. So many heads down there and some excellent sets. Oneman b2b Braiden was absolutely stupid, I cannot wait to see these two smacking it at the awards later in the month.

really quality night - first fwd i'd been to since like june and was impressed. yes, the crowd may have changed a bit etc but there were still a whole load of familiar friendly faces. soundsystem sounding sick as ever, and a really good mix of styles on show. appleblim's set especially was huge.
