yep, Vex'd - Angels for me, the anticipation and then when it kicks in is just incredible. One of the first Dubstep records I bought.
And yeah, when that bass finally comes in

I've been toiling with the idea of Mud since last year (early) and franckly in terms of pure drama this has to be it really. It's a fucking work of art. All it is is that drop nothing else, no pretentions at being any thing else. When ever i think of the best Dubstep record this always springs to mind.

most of my favs have already been mentioned, but last year cudn't get enough of the 2nd drop on misere by ranking records

(Ive been too lazy to subscribe for the forum for a long time now, but I couldnt help noticing a drop hasn't been mentioned so heres my first post

My all time favorite:
Distance: Cyclops
That tune wobbles me head to toe. Biggest drop, for sure.

Oh and Ruffage. Actuelly Ruffage is more like this.

mud quickly became a sort of template for that sound but ruffage is the one that still stands out I reckon... no one else has done anything that effective in terms of pure minimalism
loefah had this whole bass thing totally figured out, if we're talking about drops no one else should be in this thread
