Fucking hell. THink I might know the guy who's putting that on actually. Unless there are multiple people putting on obscure minimal nights in Dundee. Which seems unlikely.
I'll probably go to that, nice little warm up before bloc.

Black rabbit whorehouse still goes on occasionally I think, it's twitch and wilkes frae Optimo. They call minimal/microhouse etc. "whorehouse", after an akufen track I think.
It does & they do. Very irregular tho, and its always in a different venue each time. I'll make sure I give you guys a heads up on the next one, last few have been invite only.

Check out Rob da Bank's 'Guide To Minimal Techno' in Part 2
http://www.newmixes.com/rob_da_bank-liv ... -2007.html
Funny thing is that a lot of the artists we label as minimal don’t agree with being categorized as such. They also suggest that the tunes coming out today are quite maximal.
Regardless of what people wanna call it... i love the sound

Agreed. The different sub-genres have now become convoluted to say the least. Electro House, Bleep House, Click House, Minimal House, bla bla bla.
It all comes from Acid. Get down to your local MVE (before it closes down - which I have on good inside information is likely to happen in the near future) and buy some Acid Trax compilations. It has everything you would like in all the aforementioned.

I never really go out to minimal things, just because in Glasgow they're in the arches and attended primarily by pill-out bams who could give a shit whether it was Carl Craig or Carl Cox on the ones and twos

Return to Mono and Sensu, both at the sub club, both play predominantly minimal, and are not as populated by bams as Pressure. Sensu had Raresh playing a couple months back. Though I'm sure you probably know that if you're from Glasgow or thereabouts.
