NI has already seen this thread, and it will be passed onto the developers who are the ones who can actually fix this, soon.

Its not business that got things here, its business thats keeping it from getting fixed in a timely manner.

I would like to get more people in this thread, to give thoughts, whether they own it or not, on the usefulness of this feature, the fact that its standard on most other synths, and that it would be a factor in using/buying the synth for this cross section of users.

This thread has already ballooned in size, so if it keeps up, this could be a serious step towards getting this improved.

Give us automation of a sync'd LFO and then every producer will buy you're product to make dubsteps.

Big up anyone who can tell me how to do this in cubasesx.

oh right. the large R button....

so the problem is that the automation will not record for that feature?

Exactly. Cant automate or assign the synced LFO.

Thanks for your concise comments, Tempest!

until NI changes this due to popular demand..
everyone should work out the lfo frequency equivalent of, say, 1/4 or 1/8 etc, and then draw it in the automation in the host. or record when it aint synced to get a rough idea, and touch up after to perfection.
bit long i guess but still, its a workaround.
when i used to use logic 5.5, even if i automated a synced lfo it would appear as a frequency on the automation. they changed this in newer versions, so i couldnt tell u how to work this out. im sure someone can on here
safe

Got somewhat the same problem with it, I installed the demo version and when I just play around on the keyboard it sounds great, but when I playback something recorded in MIDI it sounds totally different, anyone else got this problem? :?

No, i think thats a bug that has also been discussed a bit at NI...

do you have the LFO sync on, when the clock is playing? Trying going to the Global page, and deselecting external sync. Then just match the tempo of your track in the internal clock, and that will likely go away...

I am all about making this change, must admit the first tune I made with massive I had to go through and automate the lfo speed on the channel strip in logic, which is extremely time consuming and hard to get accurate, I would love some sync switch autiomation on what I rate as one of my top soft synths (please NI!)

This should definately be sorted. Ive found this problem with a cpl other synths too, its a mission to match the lfo un-sync'd.

man, the more i use this synth, the more i love it.

then again, i dont need it for weird wobbles, because i dont use them very often, and if i need them i have hardware that blows away any software i have. My electribe mx can giveme a wobble that i modulate the lfo freq. with physically, so much faster than software, and everything i A/B it to sounds thin compared to it!

still, massive is my favorite software synth- now where the fuck's reaktor 6?!
