yeah, iv always been really indecisive and i guess not all that fussed, but have always wanted some....28 now though- would it stink of early mid life crisis?!?!
I designed my original tat 10 years ago, but as I grew older and wiser I realized it looked like shit + it was badly placed and badly done, so I did that cover-up instead. Told them what I wanted and then I got a drawing on my leg, freehanded, and I liked it instantly, so it got put on paper and got some more work on it and then it ended up on my leg, ta!kidlogic wrote:nah, you got another 12 years before its considered a mid-life crisis...Mr Hyde wrote:^^^^

my thing is that I want to be the one to design it, I think I would feel weird with something picked out of a book on my body... thats another reason why I havent yet. this threads got me thinking about it though... been wondering what I should do for this birthday coming up, 3-0 is a big one, it'd be a great reason to finally do it
Thats def way cool, yours looks dope... I just mean the premade flash stuff that some people get... want it to be original, yaknow? My drawing/design skills have gotten sloppy, so Id probably have to have someone draw my ideas too, but Id want to be right there for as much input as possible when they do... my idea is pretty simple, and Im kinda suprised Ive never seen it tbh, shouldnt be too hard to get right.Gena wrote:I designed my original tat 10 years ago, but as I grew older and wiser I realized it looked like shit + it was badly placed and badly done, so I did that cover-up instead. I definitly know what you mean! I originally wanted a tat that symbolized music and dj-ing somehow, something really personal that no one else had. What I should have done is to take some of my ideas to a professional for some consultation, but instead I started to draw myself and didn't have the insight that I was crap...kidlogic wrote:Thats def way cool, yours looks dope... Yea, bring the sketch and describe your idea and see what they say. They might bring more ideas to it, who knows. But talking and showing your ideas is the first stepMr Hyde wrote:well, seeing these, and seeing as i'v wanted one forever but never actually gone and done it i might as well go for it, was thinking of getting quite a stylised big bass clef- probably into a spiral on my shoulder where the big dot would usually be and with the tail of it going down my arm.....I guess do you just take a sketch of something like that to a tattoo artist who will then properly draw it in a style that'd be good for a tattoo?Gena wrote:I definitly know what you mean! I wanted to cover up my tat for years but couldn't decide what to get instead. Just knew I wanted something I can be proud of even when I grow older. Long story how I came up with this present one and why, but I'm so so happy with it and I don't have to feel ashamed when the summer comes
I thought you couldnt or you'd be kicked out of the pink mafia...Misk wrote:i;ve got two tears by my eye, and a spiderweb on my elbow. i'll tell you about 'em sometime.
