Sonar v Anti-Sonar?

Going out with a large group around the same time, DJing an underground party. When I said I want to buy tickets for Sonar Festival, they were shocked - anti-Sonar is where it's at now apparently Sonar is overpriced and commercialised. Having looked at the line-up, 'commercialised' is not exactly the word I would use to describe it. Apparently the acts playing Anti Sonar are better because they're more 'alternative' and 'underground'.
Is Sonar Festival worth the price of the ticket?
Is Anti Sonar really that good?
I'd still love to go to Sonar btw just seeking wider opinion.

surely both sonar and anti-sonar can be good festivals? i would imagine most of us would enjoy elements of each. and possibly, you could attend both if you want to...

Sounds tasty! Going to be in BCN for a week, so it'd be good to check a local event.

to me sonar is realy comercial,i went for the first time last year, only because skream and beasty boys ware playing. you pay 50e ticket and you get a black scenary with sonar logo thats it, there is no nice lights or something like that.
this year i will go back, mah showcase is very good, and this is the only chance you get to hear dubstep with and INCREDIBLE sound in bcn.
for the people who wants to know about anti sonar, its the wildest party i had ever been in.its always arround the sonar night area, here you have some video links...
