in fact, this is just a completely sick thread.

so much genuine appreciation for tunes. i guess mala is one of the only few (if not the only one) to evoke such a thing!

does anyone know the name and/or have a proper recording of this one (no help from the tune id thread a while back unfortunately);

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=N3WPWIZI

was planning to cut a dub from the recording, but might be a bit bait.

Firstly yeah, it certainly is "a bit bait" to say the least :P
And secondly, as a general rule of thumb, when your trying to get people to ID a track for you, A) dont use megaupload as its hassle and youve got the whole 45 second wait thing that just pisses me off...all about the divshare, listen without downloading. And B) Dont upload it as a .wav file :lol:

...ive now downloaded that and listened to it, and I might have to agree with jubscarz :o

thanks for the advice, its not actually my recording i was forwarding, however i'll keep that in mind next time. i guess i should have also prepared the listener for the quality of the recording (hence the original joke) long shot but someone may clock what it is, especially given the synth that comes in half way through, quite distinctive.

it was again the last tune dmz played at march dmz. im not sure its Mala to be honest, it may well be, but i also wondered whether it was Goth Trad from the engineering, reminded me loads of Cut End

also i think you should go for it with the dub, you never know. mastering can do a lot

apparently the tune is mala.... unno what it's called, originally thought it was goth trad like elgato. sounds closer to cut end than anything mala had done. here's to hoping mala guests on a radio show soon....

You have to click the play button

Hopefully 'Pop Pop Epic' sees the light, tune kills me every time..
