I have a deep puddle dynamics single that fucking rocks....dope ass beats. Can't remember what it is though. Sole, Dose-one, and Clouddead are all good from what I have anyway, can't say much about their new stuff, as I havn't kept up since the early 2000s.

been a fan since music for the advancement of hiphop compilation...

things have changed a lot since then...unfortunately...

Sole's bottle of humans blew my mind(this was back in '99)
DPD was a classic...super group almost
Reaching Quiet(why?, odd nosdam) shadow in the living room was very influential
Restiform Bodies(passage, telephone jim jesus, bomarr monk) pretty ground breaking shit...
THEM was also very important to me when it was released

seen several anitcon shows and it was great while it lasted

SIXTOO was and still is my favorite artist/producer who worked with anticon. he's amazing

The mention of Sixtoo reminds that Buck 65 is affiliated with anticon too. I like him.

when i was 17 a friend gave me a mix cd called CPI - Poetry For Fairies...
it blew my fucking mind. Specifically: Who the fuck is this schitzo sounding fucker!?!?

i later found out...Oh...it's a guy named Dose One...which turned me to CloudDead & Deep Puddle. Still 2 of my favorite hiphop albums. Controller7 remix anyone? :!:

I fucking love Alias' instrumentals. Jel. Why?. BOOMBIP.

I like some of Sage's poetry...he has a spoken word peice called Hey Bobby about the downfall of the government that is pretty amazing from any political standpoint. And his spoken word about how he got into hiphop("head over heels in love with electric drums & spoken vocals, which was the joke of locals, and laughing stock of my rock-&-roll ass...hell hole...but the rhythmic acupuncture pierced my skin, pinning the butterflies to my stomach which would flutter every time i heard the...") i feel like he's describing my life, lol...but his new stuff is...ehhh...

oh yeh...and if you want to have your minds fucked with, find the CloudDead Peel Session!!

edit, and yeh Sole cracks me the fuck up. possibly the deepest line that made me fall in love with him..."hard workers don't make millionaires, they make children who grow up to stare at waterfalls..." fuck me, that is lovely...gives me chills :)
