date and location of the most legendary and incredible roots festival (RIP) the country ever witnessed. pods of dolphins came and hung out near the beach at sunrise because they could feel the bass. fat freddy's drop, salmonella dub and shapeshifter brought the roots vibrations like nothing else. digital killed it with the jungle early in the morning. all my friends and fam were there. the weather was super hot and everyone was chill.

i would go back there again in a flash.
that sounds like a mystical dream

Probably June 15 2002, so I could actually shag that fit bird that took me back to hers after Slinky, as opposed to getting stoned, chatting shit to her for three hours then falling asleep listening to Nightmares On Wax Smokers Delight.

It was devastating when I returned to normality a week later and realised. A poor show indeed.

if you were to go back with only the knowledge you had then and no concept of having returned, then you're not reliving anything.
what's the point of that?
i'd only go back if i could retain all knowledge from the present, then i could sleep with all the girls, knock out all the pricks and practice all the skills I never aquired. Oh, and rip all the bookies off.

can you not relive something purely for the sake of enjoying it one more time?

I would love to go back to when I was 16... good year, no worries, hot girlfriend, easy job, car...

If I could go back to a specific place and time, it would be either Funk Fest or Even Furthur, both outdoor parties that happened out in the woods in Wisconsin. Funk Fest was the best party that never happened and Furthur was... well, furthur than Id ever been.

i'd probably go back about a year , a month and three weeks,
things have changed drasticly since then.
and all in all that was a real cool time for me
:?: what difference will it make?

I would return to my birth, and hope my life went a completly different way, then at this point I might not be wasting my time with stupid threads and might not have 24yrs of regret.

that's my point, if you have no knowledge that you have in fact returned, how can you enjoy it in terms of reliving it?

back to last year's teknival in pavia, italy where i had the most delicious crystal experience eva in a musically-riveting anarchy filled with bass, beats and mates.
take me back there clueless and i would certainly do it all over again.

I'd go back to a week or so before the grand national, get as big a bank loan as possible and put it all on the most ridiculous accumulator William Hill would let me. Then I'd go on an exceedingly long holiday.

i don't know if you could enjoy it in the context of being concsious that you are reliving it, but i think if you enjoyed it the first time then surely there would be a high probability you would just enjoy it again. even if your conscience didn't realise it was the second time round, your soul might.

I just thought the question posed by this thread cancelled itself out somewhere. I think that the only point in going back would be to consciously re-live events and change the outcome for the better. if you went back with no knowledge, everything would play out exactly as it already has. seems like a pointless venture. that's all.
please don't bring the soul into it. i haven't got one....
