dunno why but remind me The Persuaders soundtrack...
love the vibe
not convinced at 100% about mixdown, compressions and so on...
Anyway fuckin good writing imho
Hehehehehe, cheers! But any suggestions with regards to the mixdowns? My sound is quite different to other Dubstep-producers; i.e. much more compression, and really pumped and smacked. It might be because of my profession as a pro engineer, but I really focus a lot on my mixes, the dynamics and the overall volume output (VU). But would love some feedback, mate.

yeah your sound is quite original and it's really nice cause you sound really different than the uk prod wich is a diversity asset for sure !
But in this track, according to my personnal tastes in mixdown, i think the voice is a bit louder and has a constant noise behind
i also think the sub is swallowing the rest because of a too strong compression or something.
Think the kick could have a bit more dynamic
Didn't have yet the opportunity to listen to it on monitors cause they are not functionnal for the moment
Just listened the track with my hd25 headphones
Gonna try it asap on monitors
BUT as i said, i really love the vibe and it's the most important thing for me !!!!
This comments are just made in a fussy way ;-)

oh yeah... this one is special, no doubt..i'm definitely feeling this!
and in addition to this debate of giving away 320k mp3s, well, for example i'd buy this tune on vinyl regardless that i already got it in 320k quality off this forum..
as already said, a good tune is a good tune and this one is off the hook deep and dope as fuck :D
i wouldn't mind hearing (oops - feeling!) the additional anlogue warmth of vinyl added to this bassiline!
I played this tune on a nice subwoofer powered system at a small apartment party yesterday and this tune worked like a charm, the walls started to undulate n'shit  - definitely a nice track to play in the middle of the set 'cuz it's just so different from all the other choons. I will let it do its magic tonight as well! :5:
thumbs up! :4:

Fred, you just need to get some CDRs into some DJs' hands, work the relationships - and get some feedback on why they would or wouldn't play your tunes. If DJs are cutting your tunes and playing them out, they will sell. If DJs don't do that, they probably won't.

One other route that might work - get a P&D deal with a distributor that does dubstep. The good ones will punt out promos and tell you if it will sell - but they'll only bother if they think it stands a good chance.

Worth a go...
