Well thanks again to those who sent a nod to my post - just trying to find my place here in my new dubstep world...

It's a new world for me. I came from Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, etc....

Btw "real" dubstep means deep and dark stuff - not rap - no lyrics - no preaching - just dubstep.

Peace to the universe,

Drew

The US has loads of great producers busting into dubstep right now. San Francisco's scene is rocking quite well these days. Check out the schedule for this next week
http://groundscore.net/board/viewforum.php?f=11

Wed: Dizzee Rascal, El-p, Aesop Rock, and ton's of local dubstep dj's
Thurs: Quest and Silke
Sunday: Dead Prez, Capelton and 6BLOC-- with a full dubstep stage

Big ups to all the people in the US and all over the world collaborating on blowing this style up!

Those kind of small minded remarks i just don't get...shame too considering the same sounds in the scene your feeling are getting pushed there, open your ears a bit and fix up man.
Aint no big thing. I tend to insult everyone and didn't want the texas massive to feel left out. :P

indianapolis, IN here. home of racecars, rednecks and occasionally a winning football team. ;)
i grew up in naptown, now in brooklyn ... curious though, is there anything going on dubstep-wise there? or is it pretty lonely? any stores round there that stock dubstep vinyl? i used to work at luna, but that was pre-dubstep.
