Yeah so Friday was my first time really listening/experiencing the Dubstep sound and all I can say is I'm sold. I haven't been to a party with a vibe that thick in YEARS nor have I heard tune after tune after tune where none of them were anything short of sick. I had almost given up on dub/dancehall-inspired dance music after DnB turned into what is has lately but this has totally restored my faith.
Anyone know who was on around 11:30 or so? The dub session was killin it and the set right after was equally great.

That would be Mr. John Ask, and yes he was killing it w/ those beats!!!
I don't really know what to say about the other night that really hasn't already been said. Honestly, the Dubwars (all of them) have been the best parties I've been to in recent memory. It should be telling that I can rarely be bothered to go down into DC for a party, but everytime there's a new Dubwar announced, I begin making my travel plans.

classic moment: me whipping out the ipod - saying "no wait - you've GOT to listen to this mix" - playing you one of the mixes Miro gave me (Tommy, its yours) and you coming out and then posting that
fucking quality
looks like i managed to avoid most cameras, success! <3
