In fact I think Oneman should be forced to play a 100% grime track at FWD soon full of old and new bangers.

What a qualtity night. Really helped convincing me the Sunday move was the right thing, the vibe was really good and the crowd was older than usual (apart from that Luke rasclart).
And big up for playing the jungle right in the end! Babylon and Renegade Snares!

Pretty sure Oneman played it, there was a garage tune that had the female vocal Toasty sampled in Knowledge. Anyone who knows what that tune is called?

Yeah it sounded great. I would have loved a whole hour of stuff like that!

Aye. Not the "I seek knowledge" part, but the singing.
"I need to feel the rhythm" etc etc.

..
Good to meet you Benji - that Guinness is lethal and has destroyed me on several occasions. On the upside, you won't be getting anaemic any time soon.
Nice to meet Luke and others from here as well - bigup the forum heads who popped down and showed their support, especially to the stamina crew bouncing till 1am on a Sunday. Much appreciated. Definitely a friendlier vibe in there on a Sunday I would say.
Big up to the bloke who pulled the Candy Flip manoeuvre - asking me if I was going to "play some dubstep". At that very moment we were playing Gorgon Sound by Horsepower. I was a bit

to say the least. But he seemed to like it.
And yep, that was a Blackdown VIP mix of Focus, for whoever (Dubluke?) asked about it up-thread. We dropped it and then switched back halfway through to the original. Good spot!
All in all I had a lot of fun: Oneman and Joker smashed it and Crazy D was on top form too. Had a lot of positive comments about all 3 of them from mates who came along but don't know the scene very well (if at all) which has to be a good thing.
Only downer - the speaker in the main bit of the bar above the curtain is a bit ropey. You can stand next to the bassbins on the dancefloor and not get ringing ears the next day but ten minutes by that little bastard and my eardrums took a right pummeling.

Bloody awesome night! Was gutted I had to run off to catch my train just as the last tune started
Could I please get a tune ID? It was played kinda halfway through, probably somewhere around 1215-1230. There was the bit of the set where the tunes were of an indian/asiany flavour, a quiet one before those, and the tune I'm after is the one before that

I was the only one at the front (left speaker, as always) who was noticeably moving to it though I think.

Hey Kay. So this part of the set went...
D1 "Ongy Bongy"
Blackdown "Rolling Raj Deep"
Dusk "Focus (Blackdown's sourspot VIP)"
Dusk "Focus"
Dusk + Blackdown ft Farrah + Teji "Kuri Pataka"
Blackdown "Badla Lata Ka"
"Focus," "Kuri Pataka" and "Rolling Raj Deep" are on
our MySpace. Know which track you mean?

Brilliant! Thanks! I think it was the Focus remix.
Good that all three are on the album though! Looking forward to the release!
