If there's one core diff in our cultures, that's it.deamonds wrote:that comment became invalid when you used the 9 words previous to itDJelements wrote:I have like 6 guns in my house, and my family's completely sane.
But thats not representative of the whole of America. I grew up in a family that loves hunting, owns guns and etc... but I personally hate them and only hunt for tunes. I would never own one and do not condone their ownership. I am also not alone in this type of thinking in this country.SD5 wrote:If there's one core diff in our cultures, that's it.deamonds wrote:that comment became invalid when you used the 9 words previous to itDJelements wrote:I have like 6 guns in my house, and my family's completely sane.
Actually I can think of others...
Theres nothing wrong with gun ownership though really. Its all about the intent. Your always going to have people who have the will to kill another human being. Getting rid of guns wont change that and is pretty much impossible anyway.deamonds wrote:that comment became invalid when you used the 9 words previous to itDJelements wrote:I have like 6 guns in my house, and my family's completely sane.

In 1994 she was a registered member of the Alaskan Independence Party (AIP) who's main purpose is to secede from the US.deamonds wrote:wasnt she also approving of a union that was trying to dispan alaska as a state of america??
No I do, and I fully realize that the gun nuts in our country (not a swipe at you Elements) give the rest of us a bad image... I do wish we had stronger gun control laws and that people would stop clinging to an outdated amendment as a reason to own one. 'The right to bare arms...' was put in the Constitution as a reaction to the time in which it was written, at a time of civil unrest and revolution. It holds no place in modern society.deamonds wrote:im not tarnashing anyone with any brush, and big up you logic, the tune hunter mwhahahahaa![]()
you must understand how that statement came across though..

All too true, at least it seems in the RNC... I could not believe the lack of substance, policy and overt attacks on the Obama/Biden campaign in the past two days. Im really hoping the rest of the country is seeing through the bullshit smokescreen the right wing media in our country is putting up for these jokers.Thomas wrote:You add nothing to this discussion.Ashley wrote:8 words 1 number.
I only saw the highlights, as Skynews saw fit, and even from that this woman came across as a total nut. It was while talking about her family i realised how different american politics is, they cheer the family life quotes or anything about terror, and seem to miss the important stuff.
a lot of people don't care. they will vote republican in every election.kidlogic wrote:All too true, at least it seems in the RNC... Yeah, I agree. That McCain kinda made sense, stood up for what he seemed to be about, and matter of factly was 8 years younger.starkey wrote:a lot of people don't care. they will vote republican in every election.kidlogic wrote:All too true, at least it seems in the RNC... tbh... i actually liked mccain in 2000. but he's completely gone down a different path since that republican primary.
I give people the benefit to quote me.Thomas wrote:You add nothing to this discussion.Ashley wrote:8 words 1 number.
