I sympathise... feel exactly the same way about almost every bit of digidub ever produced, a genre I reckon quite a bit of dubstep is straying dangerously close to.

Having said that I do like a few of em.. but the vibe has to be perfect. Dally by Hijak is heavy, as is the bengal dub I was talking about earlier.
