And one more that was selling dubstep since 2001 - also here not much - but unfortunetly dind't menage to get more stuff going since the scene enlarged.

Parties are still very rare. So far there haven't been pure dubstep parties. but i know of some people who definetly want to start the scene here.

And DJs, well, i know of like 4 or 5 inculding me.

Producers, i don't know any beside of me.

And the rest of germany i dunno.

Hi
me from germany too, in my era there is no scene i know about but i saw on a few pages their are dubstep / grime parties in berlin with cameo

except of me i dont know any german producers of dubstep music :?

Amoeba, Addictech, Dance Records, and Virgin are stocking it.

We got Vex'd + Plasticman in town tomorrow. I'm eager to see the crowd response!
I was going to mention Dance Records to Dubway. They have surprised me sometimes. I picked up my Artwork from them. Maybe a fluke on that one.

Yeah man, we is going to rock tonight at superheroes! well, you DJ's will rock us.

just to fill in the gap in the map.

over here, in Slovakia there is no scene. just as in every eastern europe country. but there are people who do what HAS to be done :)
a friend, peter knows and does - plays some tunes whenever needed, traktor mp3 style and does some journalistic efforts to spread the sound ("eastern europen journalist mentioned in blacdowns "a month in dubstep" column:)

i did one party with kode9 in Bratislava.
in Prague, Steve kode9 played alongside local dubstep support Pavel (dj priapus).

one other guy (dj sanpaper) plays some grime/dubstep tunes too.

aaand the best and one i'm most looking forward is a party on 19th of november in Bratislava, where dubsta (hey man, all done, you just have to come over:) is going to play, with pavel, mixed with 2step (dj e.s.p) from prague and jungle (one czech oldschool-ragga-jumpup)... so that people comming have something they know .

consider it the frist easter europe dubstep session. to all whom it might concern: be there or be square :)

i plan to invite dmz beggining 2006, so if your're from a country nearby (say poland, czech rep. and hungary already contacted), drop me a mail</a> and we'll work out some tour or whot.

I'm in Manchester..

I wouldn't say that there is much of a scene as such here yet..the first dubstep night was PLOY last Thursday @ Dry Bar with Vex'd, Appleblim & Shackleton (sadly I had to miss it due to the lurgy)..Mark One and Milanese played up on Sat but I was in Leeds..

There are a fair few record shops selling the music..you can pick up most releases from Boomkat, Eastern Bloc and Picadilly Records..even Fopp has a small dubstep section..

Boomkat deserve a lot of credit..They were the first in the city to really back the sound, particularly Conor who promotes the PLOY night and is very enthusiastic about the music, pushing Kode9, Digital Mystikz etx in the shop, and treating the local cafe goers (the shop is part of a cafe/curio shop) to some choice dubstep played loud..

I'd imagine the best way further the audience locally is to try and get involved with the D&B scene, which it appears a lot of people who come to dubstep have roots in..

I live at here in Sao Paulo, Brazil... I make a party called TRANQUERA... The first brazilian Grime, Dubstep night in our country... I play Dubstep in other parties too... Dub, Ragga, Jungle, Drum'n'bass nights... People are very receptive to the sound...

Jimmy Luv rhymes over my sets... We did a tune together... It's called "Vow Keimah"... I think that our success is due our live appearances... Our shows are full of energy... People really like it...

I also make radio shows in radio stations... Last Saturday I did a radio show at FM 96,3 MHz Curitiba... People were asking what is Dubstep... Where this genre appeared for the first time... Everyone is interested in the sound...

I have a place where I publish articles about Grime, Dubstep in Portuguese... There you can find the pics of our nights, radio shows... Take a look... http://www.submusica.com/brunobelluomini

I'm glad for the support everyone is giving... Without this... Things could be very difficult...

Best,

Bruno Belluomini.

Not much here in Los Angeles, but things r getting better I think. U can find some Skream/Search and Destroy stuff at amoeba, but thats pretty much it. no real nights-just a couple of scattered djs here and there... Anybody in the LA area interested in starting something up? : )

As mentioned, San Francisco has something of a scene going; just saw plasticman + vexd up there this weekend, actually.

yeah not much going on in sheep country..any dubstep in this area is all to do with me..

most popular types of music up here are hiphop, dnb and house

dnb heads are all over the breaky sounds..specialy loving toasty, after dark prods and dubchilds bits.

everybody likes the dubbed out tunes..just not all night

as for dubstep production..I dabble myself under pseudonym borg or borgtek and there a few other dudes onto producing the sound called riot boy, dienw and bad man evans.
