Thanks for the comment but I didnt want this to seem like a rival show to Maryanne's, or to in anyway belittle or overshaddow the radio 1 show she did the other week.

This should be seen as a followup maybe, not a standoff. I have the upmost respect for everything Maryanne has done and is continuing to do for the scene.

Hopefully this show and the rise up special will complement eachother and be good promotion for everyone concerned.

Big respect. Wedge

I didn't mean for the comment to put the two up against each other.

And it has nothing to do with MAH or whether you have respect for her or not.

It's just that one show was prerecorded mixes all you guys send to BBC (correct me if am wrong) and this show is all you buggers gathering in a house, with shitloads of tunes, 4 hours of playtime, loads of alcohol and a hell of a soundsystem.

One was a showcase of the Bristol sound, kind of academic look at it, while the other is an all out party.

I as a listener would rather attend the latter, 's all am sayin'

I wanted to say that just in case people got the wrong idea about what we're doing, wasn't directly aimed at you and i know you meant it in a positive way.

but yeah its gonna be foooking heavy weight!!
