I think this may be the most creative use of projection mapping i've seen. It combines live performance....semi autonomous animation that seems to be camera reactive....just fucking amazing.....

I'd say a good portion of this was done in post production, stunning all the same but I don't think it is projection mapping. This does show what could be possible with things being came reactive. I know Sony have a camera that only takes a shot when someone is smiling at it. I'm sure this technology could be adapted to trigger animations or sound when the subject moves into a certain part of the frame. Things are getting interesting, seemingly by the week too :)

Nah if you do some research this was a live performance, granted it may not be triggered by gesture or shape although some of it looks like it is. There is clearly projection mapping though, when she brings in those blocks they are placed at different angles then a city scape is mapped to them.

Awesome how ever you look at it though...makes me wanna go back to uni again so ive got time to try stuff like this out :P
