sorry but i totally disagree with you on this...I think some of the best albums to listen to from start to finish exist within hip hop...too many examples to choose from but de la soul, tribe called quest, beastie boys, cypress, roots manuva etc. have all made albums like this...plus all the other ones people have metioned...
you must have low standards. I cant think of an album from de la soul, tribe called quest, beastie boys, cypress, roots manuva that matches your description. dela and quest are very spotty. the first side of the first cypress is tight. dont remember license to ill but cant think of another bboys album anywhere close to being solid. dont know roots man - he has a strong voice but his lyrics never did anything for me. the first wu album has nice skits and a nice tone but they never made good on teh lyrics. half the first gravediggaz is good. illmatic has like 3 good cuts. ready to die (the unreleased uncensored vers) has a few good cuts. the geto boys second album (the first released by def american) has a strong side, same with eze's solo, and ice cubes first solo. dr octogon or the first ultra have a lot of good cuts. the first eric b and rakim the first epmd & jungle bros have hella good cuts.
but at a time where you can buy tracks ala carte - f buyign hip hop albums. sorry
lol. just lol.

you need to buy better music mate. some of my favorite albums to listen to all the way through are hiphop.
This is so true. Hiphop is probably the only cds that flow from start to finish!! *see mos & talib we are blackstar, illmatic, liquid swords and so much more

yeah if you like all the filler on those albums. why buy an album when only 3 or 4 cuts are on point?
PRTs second album has 3-4 few good cuts. Stress from organized confusion has 3. i can only listen to 1 cut from funcrusher before getting bored. bum rush only has one good side, almost. slum v fantastic has 2 good cuts. low end theory has a few good cuts. pharcydes first has a few decent cuts.
illmatic and 36 chambers has nice beats and tone but not feeling the lyrics.
