Richie August http://www.myspace.com/richieaugust

Richie August started his musical journey by writing rhymes and flowing over hip hop beats as a teen in high school. Soon after graduation he acquired his first pair of turn tables, learning to spin hip hop. Submerged in the Chicago rave scene he soon developed a love for drum and bass. After starting to spin DnB he then started producing. Over the next eight years he spun and produced everything from house to hip hop but focused on DnB. 2008 he is introduced to Dubstep and the monster is born.
