Sure hope 34's not too old as that's me in 2 years! Must still be able to go out to properly enjoy dubstep, unless of course I randomly find a couple million quid and get to build my own sound room!

You know..I remember exactly where I was the first time I ever heard Circles - We (boyfriend and I) had just gotten a new Andy C mix in the mail and were riding up to Philly for the day - and the tune just dropped on the tick tick and it was just amazing - it was like a transitional moment for D+B..we rewounded like 6 times..

..really in retrospect..Bukem had been going steady with that more sophisticated soulful kind of style, but circles really made like - a liquid dent, because the sound was really gangstrrr at the time and heading towards tech-step..so it blew a nice space for the atmospheria.

cold fresh air..

Only thing good about being old is I got to be there from day

Started going to raves in '89, before some of the folks on this board were born.

Nice to see things develop over the years

I don't think age matters. What matters is that you like dubstep, go listen to it! Even if I were a 70 old grey haired man, I would attend to the raves if that what was I liked! Do what thou will!

32. In a small town it can be harder to do this shit as you get older. More clubbers of the "I'll do it from 18 - 25" variety. Not so many "I can't imagine not doing this" heads.

I had one gurning young lad put his arm around me after some serious dance action at a Jeff Mills gig a while back and he says "You still lovin the tunes boy? fair play fair play". tnuc made me feel about 90. The free party scene here is more of my age group but theres only so much 180 BPM techno I can handle.

The trend here seems to be - very little new blood coming into the rave scene that are as clued up as years ago.
