For all the people with a crashing massive, probably the cracked version.. i have a fix

its temporary but its not much hassle deleting the files..

ok so here it is

go to c:\documents and settings\(your user name)\local settings\application data\native instruments

there are some files in that location, delete them all but not the folders. reload FL studio or whatever software you use, reopen massive, jobs a good'n...
after a while it will start to crash again (about a week or so) but simply delete the files and it works again.

this took me months to figure out lol.

I have just downloaded massive and have opened it 4 times on separate tracks with nuendo 3, all with different lfo rates. Dont know if this is pushing it, but all these comments are making me not want to get friendly with it. If i have already got past this stage should i be OK or should i be expecting a serious crash soon?

Just to inform anyone using a CRACKED version of NI Massive. It will crash. Just buy it. It's not that much. The real version does not do this. I see this all the time in the forums. I have owned it for almost 2 years and had it crashed maybe twice...

Owned Massive for a year or so get the odd crash but otherwise solid az !!!!

and was using them today. they worked. hopefully these do as well. finding new presets online for massive is my new hobby, as i learn to use it better and make my own and whatnot.

actually these turned out to be balls for me. they would work when i played them, but when i went to record or write notes they would play back nothing like what it sounded like playing it.

Searching for more Massive preset libraries - great place to start. If anyone else has any other recommendations - keen to hear them.

this isnt nessacarily because you were using a cracked version

NI patches are famed for their bugs and poor programming issues that take forever to get resolved

just have a glance at their official forums and youll see just how many bugs and issues ALL NI software has!!

Im using a macbook.....

If i delete the database file, Massive doesn't work....it asks me to reinstall it. if i do this im guessing the crashing problem will still happen....

anyone know what to do ?

if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated im using massive in my degree piece and if i cant use it i am majorly fucked
