Hell yeah "Snake Eater" is inspired by the Heatmakerz!

That Araab Muzik guy is :o

I remember my first ever dubstep party (we weren't callin it dubstep at that time), in Brussels, 2005, don't know who it was, Mark One or Plasticman or Mala, but a DJ dropped "Dipset Anthem" and i went nuts!

Anyway, not a huge fan of the Dipset, not at all, but they've got some good bits, and i have to admit that i love Cam's "Come Home With Me"

I forgot I can't say "I don't really like mainstream" without sounding like a 13 year old.

do I have to say "fuckin' radio hip-hop garbage" to sound cool?

There is a dubstep/dipset project in the works for the not so distant future.

I can already imagine Juelz on a Dubstep beat. It'd probably be the most surreal moment ever.

"A! I got bass, my bass got weight! Your boy got base! Your boy got weight!"

I'd be laughing, but facepalming so hard...

If Joker's running things he could pick someone so much better than Dipset... ugh.

I think i could see juelz on dubstep, that 'there it go' beat although not dubstep obvs its along a similar-ish line

tbh now im thinkin about it the tempo is all wrong, not really about half time rapping. u would need someone like jim jones or lil wayne if it was gonna work..

but even then they should just stick to hiphop/crunk

lol @ my complete U-turn

i would like to see joker make a hiphop tempo beat for dipset though! they may not be the most widely respected rappers but its a bit of fun int it. and cam did that whole purple haze thing

It's the colour I shit too when I listen to their muzak.
But serious 3-6 Mafia not dipset surely. They loves the codeine. Anyone seen that vbs about Houston. Classic.

ummm there is no more dipset. all those dudes have drama with eachother. the only ones still together is jim jones and Juelz, but they dont even rep Dipset on their current tracks.

They have a back catalogue though, that may be getting the remix action at some point, or so the little birdies tell me.

i think this would be sick, wonky dubstep + rap has been done amazingly before e.g.

styles p & swizz beats - blow ya mind (starkey rmx)
jackie chain ft jhi ali - rollin (rustie rmx)

both of these are absolute tunes, more stuff in that style would be very welcome.

Ha I know Jhi Ali, he's from my hometown. His label, slow motion soundz, puts out some of the best southern hip hop in the country.
