which one is it, i have a couple, sold a couple, been through a few. They are awesome.

Ring modulator, the filters and the analog delay are fantastic.

Moog is great because as you buy more mood equipment you created a sort of modular environment. Its nice that I can run sounds into my moog, and out and through the moogers foogers and back through them creating all sorts of crazy loops, its interesting, not always musical.

RIP. Are you at a good GC? The Vegas one is lame with only the LP and Prophet 08 available to demo. Don't get why, I think they'd be making more dosh if we could demo the goods and get hooked.

Wanna get me some MoogerFoogers. You running yours thru an LP Collective?

Think there's a deal on the LP in GC ATM. The blue LED Stage II for under $1000. I got a sweet deal thru Musicians Friend, bought a gift certificate for then get 10% so ending up getting it for $950 if I remember right. Free shipping too. Didn't pay tax too for some reason. WIN!

nowaysj wrote:Okay, not to poop in this pool, but I've read people complaining that the LP is thin, and nothing like what a proper old moog was. Any truth to that?

And not saying that the sound is thin in of its self, but thin relative to what og moogs used to turn out.
If the LP is thin the sound from a Minimoog must be huuuuuuuuuuuuge. I've never used a classic Moog but definitely get desired phat results from the LP. It does take a lot of work to get the bassline sounding right in the mix. This bassline is all Little Phatty
