You stock volume 2? Not picked it up yet and I'm hopefully gonna be down London way soon so I might make a Croydon detour and spend my sterling somewhere where I know it's helping to spread the gospel, so to speak :)

some wicked news....

Big up to everyone that bought stuff from my dubstep section!!!

the regional managers manager visited the store and was really impressed and has asked that the store push dubstep more!

i am going to get a whole end panel to dedicate to it facing out from dance to fill with all the best titles in much larger quantities than before!!

It's entirely my baby and i can decide to do whatever i want with it...I will have a whole drop of deep stuff and a drop of aggresive stuff and a drop of the wobblestep also....!

this will come into effect in the next few weeks....we still have tons in stock but are waiting for a few bits to arrive...

saturday every customer in dance wanted dubstep...was such a sick feeling!

a lot of the d&b heads now ask for drum & bass and dubstep :D

our store is to be the flagship store for dubstep pretty much officially now for hmv!

Nice one Piston - might not be particularly fashionable to big up the chains that don't mean there aren't people behind the scenes involved for the right reasons.
Good to meet you the other month btw - hop eyou got a chance to check out that R&S mix comp!

i've done this in my own time as i'm actually in charge of dvd so all the ordering, merchandising etc was done after my shifts finished..

hard to convey how cool it is with pictures but pretty much everything release save for the small amount ot items coming are in there (1 of each out)

it has all the rinse, dubstep allstars, all 3 boxcutter cds, 2562, vex'd, skream, dusk & blackdown, distance, cyrus, milanese, mrk1, round black ghosts comps, pinch etc etc

i literally ordered in everything and as i'd sold 10 cds before it even went out they don't mind me ordering in loads more...

if in croydon come and say hi and buy

my names jon
fancy moving to manchester hmv lol?? could do with getting a few of those cd's for me car

ordered an absolute fuckload of stock from cargo, srd, baked goods & sony on saturday...

way way more than ever before in preparation for this display..

it's going to be in the corner where t - shirts are now...a whole corner dedicated to dubstep!!!

i'm going to put hotflush 'space & time' on it as one of the titles as well as martyn's 'great lengths' and fabric mix for example as well as the obvious plastician, skream, benga, burial, caspa & rusko (im not putting caspas album on it though), all soul jazz comps, boxcutter, kromestar, shackleton, geiom, distance, kode9 as well as the rinse dubstep ones & mah comps...

loads of stuff....getting a serious serious push...and merchandised to sell...

any local producers that we stock reading this (any with cds out and available to us) im carrying 5 at a time instead of the 2 i was stocking as we will sell a load more this way...let any mates local after your cd that they should buy it from us....

big up everyone for buying!

Just make sure what you stock is an accurate interpretation into what Dubstep is and get rid of the fucking noise.
