It is with deep regret that we have cancelled Medium at the Sin City & Medium event at Cable on Friday 19th June 09. The cancellation was forced upon us by circumstances completely beyond our control. Cable announced that it intended to close down room 2 (the Medium Room) the day before the event was due to take place. We could not come to an agreement with the venue. We are not prepared to undermine our brand and what Medium stands for, so we have withdrawn all involvement rather than deliver a compromise that has been dictated to us. We feel deeply let down and wish to whole heartedly apologise to anyone who was planning on attending to see artists in the Medium room.

Sin City will still go ahead in room one.

Medium (and Sin City and Hyponik) have spent a huge amount of time and effort preparing for this party and are deeply disappointed by its cancellation. We can't apologise enough.

As an alternative for people who were coming for the Medium room, Medium residents FD, Tasha & Sigha will now be playing at A Bunch of Cuts at The Arches - please come and join us.

In the meantime Medium will continue its residency as normal at Plastic People. The next event is on Wednesday 12th August 09. Watch this space for a Medium weekend event...

was a heavy night despite disappointment about the medium, walshy played for a good 2 and a half hours i'm told! and when i arrived he was still going strong, el b smacked it and all, was wicked to hear classics like serious on a nice system. managed to miss all of the others' set cos i was standing outside chatting! got back in time for chef who smacked it of course!! his mixing was tight as fuck as always, was good to see him really getting into the vibe.

caught like the first half hour of silkie and quest which was fucking sick as expected!! once again was so nice hearing some of those tunes on the system, really enjoyed it, always have really - i've never heard a bad set from anti social.

after that i was fucking shattered so decided to head home, big up everyone who went and supported, big up the hyponik lads for the night itself, and big up all dj's who played! and oh and special big ups to the "lets have the afterparty in this newsagent" crew

gutted i had to leave after el-b, had been missioning down from cambridge and around london all day, feet were too rinsed to keep on standing so home for 11h of sleep it was

nice nice venue

good night though, was worth a tenner just to see el-b jumping around to Express
