Agreed his films are mostly shit and as an actor on the whole, not so good. However I came to know jack black from the OLDSKOOL Tenacious D TV show and the first tenacious D album (second one wasnt AS great although the film was 100X better than I thought it would be)

But yeah, tenacious D's first album pretty much was the soundtrack to my youth!

I love the guy. He can totally wail on a guitar and that alone makes him awesome. Plus I think he would be awesome to trip with, hehe.

I know a guy who's done DMT a few times, he believes he was visited by aliens and they taught him things. He explained it all to me a few years ago, saw him recently and he has shaved off his dreads and was in a suit buying garlic bread in Sainsbury's.

DMT didn't make me think I was a vampire or anything, I tripped and got trails and exaggerated colours, sounds and saw some stuff that wasn't there, but I never imagined anything. I think you have to be quite open to the power of suggestion to have trips that nuts, same kind of people who act like aliens or dogs when hypnotised by Paul McKenna.
